Objectives of this Role

Apty is strategically expanding our marketing department by hiring Senior Content and Thought Leadership Strategist to define, execute and put Apty on the map as a thought leader in DAP. This person will work closely with the VP of Marketing on the thought leadership marketing strategy and will be responsible for developing and executing the thought leadership program and achieving marketing revenue goals. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities :

  • Drive the execution of all strategic content, white papers, website content, thought leadership pieces
  • Translate DAP industry concepts into detailed and thought provoking pieces that can be shared through all marketing channels
  • Create engaging content pieces by interviewing the Apty executive team on key thought leadership themes including Digital Adoption and Transformation
  • Connect with Digital Adoption and Digital Transformation Enthusiasts, Influencers, and Trail Blazers
  • Will act as the primary and “lead” person for this function and must, therefore, have the maturity, experience, and organizational project management skills to act independently and effectively
  • Build content (thought leadership articles, blog posts, white papers, eBooks, etc.) targeted at Apty personas to optimize the customer journey and deliver the right message at the right time.
  • Maintain and update all content channels associated with the Apty Blog, Website and our emerging thought leadership platform.
  • Lead the development of multiple pieces of content each month, from concept to publication.
  • Research, package, write, and edit content from internal and external sources to develop insightful and engaging company and brand narratives.
  • Help develop content beyond text-based stories — including infographics, charts, videos, GIFs, social media
  • Collaborate with global marketing team on monthly content calendar updates and themes

Skills Required :

  • Excellent editing, writing and content skills with portfolio of B2B writing to show
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 4+ years of experience in technical writing, product marketing, content marketing, journalism, or professional writing/editing.
  • Experience writing whitepapers, thought leadership, blogs for an enterprise SaaS vendor or tech industry publications.
  • Obsessive organizational skills. Close attention to detail and quality.
  • Comfortable working with multiple, cross-functional teams, in-house and remote, domestically and internationally
