Objectives of this Role

Apty is strategically expanding our marketing department by hiring a Product Marketing Specialist to execute on product marketing internally and externally at Apty. This person will work closely with the VP of Marketing on the product marketing strategy and will be responsible for executing and achieving product marketing and marketing revenue goals. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and will be instrumental in building product marketing as a function at Apty. If the following describes you, we can’t wait to hear from you:

  • You love to develop captivating marketing campaigns that communicate the features and benefits of a product to new and existing customers
  • Understand the Apty customer to know exactly what they need (and want) from the product to thrive and succeed
  • You are skilled at creating compelling product messaging and a unique selling point that sets a product apart in the market
  • You love to create and build campaigns and assets that a Sales team can used to demonstrate the value of a product to prospective customers
  • You work seamlessly with other departments to demonstrate the value of a product to new and existing customers and drive customer retention
  • You will drive customer engagement by helping customers embrace product updates with easy-to-understand webinars, how-to videos, guides, and email
  • You will be responsible for new product GTMs execution and success
  • You enjoy working closely with sales, product teams and revenue operations to define and execute GTM tactics
  • You love to create relevant content for users including customer case studies and product videos
  • You will be happily responsible for product update in monthly customer newsletter
  • You will be Responsible for planning, execution and follow up of the quarterly product webinars
  • You love to get to know customers and will consistently interact with our customers to improve product planning and marketing offers
  • Responsible for product content on all external marketing channels including the website
  • Support the market launch of new products and releases and the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Create long and short-form sales and marketing content that leverages writing and analytical skills. This includes webinars, case studies, whitepapers, presentations, infographics, videos, and blog posts, and more.
  • Develop product thought leadership collateral such as product deep dives and best practice collateral in partnership with Sales and Customer Success
  • Conduct competitive analysis and ongoing market tracking activities in order to develop product messaging and sales-enablement
  • Develop and upkeep of competitive battle cards and communicate to sales and CS teams
  • Develop collateral and collaborate closely with VP Marketing on product launches

What you’ll need :

  • Working background and understanding of an Enterprise SaaS sales organization
  • Experience working with sales and/or CS teams
  • Experience working in startups
  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS experience
  • 3+ years of Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Product Management, or other marketing functions preferred
  • Experience supporting a variety of product marketing functions such as product launches, competitive analysis and reporting, and sales collateral development
  • Demonstrated writing and content development skills
  • Strong verbal communication, proven team collaboration skills
  • Great analytical and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable and even thrive in fast-changing environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an agile and deadline-driven environment
  • Flexible and have a roll-up-your-sleeves, “get stuff done” attitude
  • Selfless team player who brings positivity and passion to your work every single day

Must be based in Austin or Boston area and ability to travel to either location as needed.
