Objectives of this Role

Partner Development is a critical resource to help Apty identify and align with the leading global partners that can refer, resell, and implement the Apty solution. As a Partner Development Representative, you will be a foundational team member in supporting the growth of the Apty partner ecosystem. You will engage in inbound and outbound B2B activity and efforts to create awareness, align values, and extend interest within prospective ecosystem partnership engagements.

Our goal for the Partner Development Rep is to promote them to a closing role in under 18 months, but you must earn it! 

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities :

  • Research and identify key business influencers, decision makers, and named accounts within the Partnership pipeline
  • Conduct cold calling campaigns to create demand for our product and qualify leads 
  • Work with the Partnership leadership team to track activity and measurable KPIs monthly
  • Work with the extended Apty team on all commercial partnership activity
  • Leverage marketing data to interact with prospects and follow along on their buyer’s journey 
  • Share compelling information with prospects to garner a secondary conversation 
  • Utilize Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo/DiscoverOrg and other sales technologies to build your sales pipeline with qualified contacts and accounts 
  • Align with an Account Executive to strategize your territory and conduct account mapping and planning to best prioritize your time 
  • Document prospect interaction within Salesforce CRM 

Skills Required :

  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Experience in the channel or partner development
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver

Self-Management :

  • You have great organizational skills, attention to detail and are a strong time manager
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presenting 
  • Internally driven to succeed and a desire to step out of your comfort zone to come up with solutions 
  • Passion for sales and technology with a willingness to learn and adapt when changes arise
  • A true team player who will collaborate with their peers, share tactics that are working and succeed faster as a team
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications and Experience Levels :

  • 6+ month’s partner or channel experience
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and standard product requirement planning tools (JIRA, AHA, Trello, Confluence, or similar) Strong track record of building and driving world-class engineering teams
  • Comfortable working with multiple, cross-functional teams, in-house and remote, domestically and internationally
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
