Objectives of this Role

  • Partner with sales & finance leadership to plan, build and manage Apty’s deal desk to create greater visibility, consistency and velocity of execution with vendor paperwork. 
  • Create Maintains and enforces agreed upon departmental review and approval Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Own & operate the deal desk – responsible for organizing, tracking and facilitate tasks based on internally defined SLAs.
  • Serves as the trusted advisor to the Sales team on deal structure and quoting, advises the team on alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closure.
  • Facilitate legal red linings based on pre-defined checklist, organize and deliver documentation through cross-functional interactions, act as first line of defense on RFPs & RFIs, etc
  • Program management of all legal, security and technical documentation to be shared with Vendor/customers.
  • Ensure both technical and non-technical information are up to date and accessible across teams. 
  • Partner with legal & finance to establish legal playbook to expedite red lining process.  
  • Manage and own the performance and templates of our paperwork execution software -- Proposify. 
  • Partner with Finance and Customer Success to improve integrations and data flow between Salesforce, FreshSuccess and QuickBooks. 

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities :

  • Maintain a well-organized queue of vendor requests with clear next steps, task ownership, and projected delivery dates within accordance to internal SLA.
  • Manage all deal paperwork to ensure order management process is running effectively.
  • Regularly receive and communicate updates on complex requests to both stakeholders and the sales rep who is associated to the request.
  • Update the documentation repository to guarantee all certifications and technical documentation are up to date.
  • Assists to interpret contractual language and escalate to ensure deals comply with revenue recognition and operational policies
  • Standardize and ensure up to date order forms and MSA’s are accessible in proposal and paper execution software, including multi-year scenarios.

  • Analytical : Strong analytical skills in interpreting data to recommending actions, proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

  • Tactical, and see the big picture : Able to disseminate solutions that address immediate needs, which will also scale as the organization grows. 
  • Communication :  you should be able to communicate clearly with global team based in US and India 

Qualifications and Experience Levels :

  • 2+ year in similar role or revenue operations experience, preferably in high volume SaaS 
  • Proven track record of defining, structuring and enforcing processes for the betterment of the organization.
  • Remote Team Management Experience
  • Experience working in a start-up environment
  • In-depth understanding of enterprise buying and procurement process
  • Proficient computer and project management skills, specifically tools like Asana, Sharepoint and Microsoft Word.
  • Track record of working with multiple, cross-functional teams, in-house and remote, domestically and internationally
